Geoff Leask, Chief Executive of Young Enterprise Scotland congratulated all the winners and finalists.
"The Bridge 2 Business Tertiary Enterprise Education Awards, now in their second year, are a great celebration of the entrepreneurial teaching, learning and activity that exists in Scotland's Colleges. We quite often forget that more businesses are started each year in the UK by people who's highest qualification is from an FE College. And these businesses are sustainable, not relying so much on the start up support mechanisms that are available to hi-tech, hi-innovation and highly ambitious start up companies. At grassroots level, FE Colleges are a hive of activity, and the Bridge 2 Business team are privileged to witness it every single day of the week.
"Congratulations to all the Winners, and Runners up. It's an excellent achievement by everyone to be nominated and shortlisted for these awards, and I hope all these finalists are an inspiration to the next generation of aspiring young business owners."
As part of the prize, all Winners have been invited to the Herald Fashion Awards, taking place on Sunday 5th November at Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow for a night of glamour and glitz - Get your party frocks on!!
