Princes Trust through Renfrewshire region are holding a 4 day course ’Explore Enterprise’, to help students grasp and understand the main elements of a business start-up. Various workshops will be held throughout the day to support new business start ups

Event Details

Princes Trust is a charity that run a range of training programmes, provide mentoring support, business start up support and offer financial grants to build the confidence and motivation of young people.

Princes Trust in the Renfrewshire Region are holding a 4 day training course 'Explore Enterprise' for those who are looking to develop their skills in key areas of a business start up. This is a fantastic 4 day course which will give you an insight of the different elements of a business and an opportunity to ask for any advice and questions on anything relevant to you.

The dates are offered to Renfrewshire and Inverclyde clients.

The 4 days will run from the 27th - 30th of June 2017.

The 4 day Explore course is made up of the following parts:

Day 1 (Tuesday) AM - Getting to know each other, Icebreakers, Employment v's Self Employment, Legal Structures
Day 1 (Tuesday) PM - Managing personal money, credit reports

Day 2 (Wednesday) AM - Marketing
Day 2 (Wednesday) PM - Sales

Day 3 (Thursday) AM - HMRC, Tax, National Insurance
Day 3 (Thursday) PM - Managing Money in a business, Profit & Loss, Cashflow, Book keeping, Cost + Pricing

Day 4 (Friday) AM - Business Planning
Day 4 (Friday) PM - Mentoring, Next steps, Potential funding discussion
