What inspired you both to the creative industry?
The Internet is really a level playing field where if you are motivated enough you can make a good, honest and satisfying living. Working in design and web development allows us to collaborate with exciting people from all over the world in all sorts of industries. We have a strong desire to do things better. We want to build a great studio that is the standard to which others aspire to.
Who was your biggest hero when you were young?
Nana: Thierry Henry - footballing legend - He is cool personified.
Matthew: Captain Kirk â€“ Because he was a leader, confident and an explorer.
Can you tell us about the first £10 you ever made?
Nana: selling cakes door to door.
Matthew: Washing cars
How do you define success?
Being satisfied in what you’ve achieved. Every day deciding what it is you want to do.
What has been the biggest challenge so far with your business?
Staying positive and motivated in the face of disappointment.
What is it that keeps you going through any tough times?
The positive people we surround ourselves with... that and a cuddle.
What is it that gets you out of bed in the mornings?
We love our work. Design is never boring.

If you could give your “teenage self” one piece of advice, what would it be?
There will never be a better time to try something so start now. Don’t worry about making mistakes, everybody successful made a lot of mistakes on their journey, plus it makes your story more interesting!
