Can you tell us about the first £10 you ever made?
I was 12 years old helping an old man rent deck chairs on a beach in Devon, one hot summer we rented so many they revealed a pile of old damaged surf boards hiding at the back. I asked for one to repair for myself. This lead to repairing the rest of the surf boards and we started renting them at ten pounds for a half day. I was so proud to have identified such a lucrative revenue stream and I made a lot of money too !
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
I think initially it was getting the brand out there, luckily the aid of social media helped spread the word fast and far. Friends were also instrumental in spreading the word.
Who is it that keeps you going through any tough times?
