Who was your biggest hero when you were younger?
My hero would have to be my granny, she taught me a lot from a young age, pointed me in the right direction and told me a few facts about life â€˜what’s the worst that can happen’ â€˜no such thing as you can't.
What initially attracted you to enterprise?
Being in charge of my own destiny and being my own boss.
Can you tell us about the first £10 you ever made?
Cutting grass in my local town.
What has been your biggest challenge so far with your business?
Keeping a cash flow & working capital.
Who is it that keeps you going through any tough times?
What is it that gets you out of your bed in the morning?
The thought of the opportunities that the day could bring. My motivation and passion for my company, the excitement of new challenges to complete/achieve.
How do you define success?
Happiness is the key to success, you can have all the money in the world but if you’re not happy then it’s worthless I suppose.
Where do you see your business in 5 years’ time?
Well where I would like it to be would be worldwide, we would all like that right?
If you could give your “teenage self” one piece of advice, what would it be?
Listen to your elders, take everything on board and learn from your mistakes.
