2018 Bridge 2 Business Award Winners!
- Students, Educators and Young Business Owners Celebrated!
- Enterprise is Thriving in Scotland’s Further Education Colleges
- Congratulations to all the Winners
After what has been an extremely strong year for Scottish Enterprise Education, Young Enterprise Scotland are delighted to announce the winners of the fourth Annual Bridge 2 Business Awards for 2018!
With six categories up for grabs this year, the Bridge 2 Business Awards celebrate the students, educators, institutions and projects that have contributed so much to Further Education College life in Scotland this year. And what better time to announce it that Global Entrepreneurship Week, when eyes and minds across the planet focus on the individuals who dedicate their careers to enterprise, creativity, start up and business growth.
FE Colleges play a huge role in developing the economies of the communities in which they serve, locally, regionally, nationally and globally. Historically, evidence shows that well over half of the UKs small business owners are educated to FE College level, through apprenticeships, NCs, HNDs, and now on the growing number of degrees being offered in Scotland's Colleges. No surprises that the quality of practical learning & teaching going around campus is having such a big impact on the students, educators and stakeholders who participate.
A big congratulations to all of our nominated entries - the standard is so high, but as always in these competitions - winners must be picked, and here's the results....
