- Launching the Enterprise Exchange Peer 2 Peer Mentoring Programme
Scotland and Jamaica don't have much in common when it comes to a lot of things, like the weather, or our national dress. But Scotland do have Alan Wells, and he won a Gold Medal long before Jamaica's Usain Bolt!!
Moscow 1980 to be exact...however, Olympic Sprint Champions isn't where it stops!
The Bridge 2 Business Team are delighted to have formed a partnership with the Jamaican Minsitry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport to bring a new International flavour to each countries Enterprise Education experiences for young business owners.
On Wednesday 18th October 2017, Bridge 2 Business have been invited to present via video link to hundreds of up and coming start up businesses from the home of the World Heritage Site - The Blue & John Crow Mountains!
The event is in collaboration with Green Jamaica Conservation & Development Trust, and supported by many of the regions leading enterprise and economic development agencies.
Thanks to connections made by The British Council, at a recent international visit to City of Glasgow College, The Enterprise Exchange idea was born, and is being introduced to Jamaican and Scottish Entrepreneurs at the Economic Opportunities Workshop, entitled Connecting the Creative Dots.
Bridge 2 Business will show how we do things in Scotland, introducing the Your Enterprise Profile assessment tool, and letting delegates know about our new Peer 2 Peer Mentoring Programme that will help build links between the two countries up and coming creative talents.
If any Scottish or Jamaican based businesses want to know more about this opportunity, and build international connections with like-minded Entrepreneurs, then all you need to do is fill in our Survey and Bridge 2 Business will do the rest!
