Ayrshire Enterprise Awards 2018
Ayrshire Business week kicked off on Monday October 8, with the Prince's Trust Ayrshire Enterprise Awards.
The guests filled the newly refurbished Saltcoat's Town Hall, and provided an opportunity to celebrate the success of the Princes Trust supported businesses and the collaborative school projects across Ayrshire.
Talks from Walter Smith, Prince's Trust Ayrshire Chair and Kate Still, Prince's Trust Director - Scotland highlighted the good work that the Prince's Trust does encouraging young people to become self-sufficient and successful in enterprise and employment.
Ten of the Prince's Trust supported businesses and projects had stalls, displaying their products and services, including Emily Williams of R'n'D Paws (pictured below), who also won the Creative Industries Award, sponsored by Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd.
Presenters Emma Frew, Breeze Connection and Ryan Leslie, Gymmies Kitchen (Pictured below) were both supported by the Prince's Trust and won awards on the day respectively. Ryan picked up the Rising Star award sponsored by Hillhouse Quarries, and Emma won the North Ayrshire Business of the Year award.
