Ayrshire College host first IPSE Freelancing event for students event in Scotland.

IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed and Bridge 2 Business have joined forces to launch the first Freelancing for Students event in Scotland.

Ayrshire College, Kilmarnock Campus are hosting the first in a series of event on January 23rd, 2019 which is designed to give students across all discipline's top tips and advice on how to successfully launch a career as a freelancer.

The event offers students the opportunity to take part in a series of practical workshops as well as hear from our panel of successful freelancers who will share their journey, challenges and successes.

Jack Allan of 95 Social will be hosting a workshop on "Opportunities in Freelance work and how to get started"

Jack Allan is the 22 year old founder of 95 Social, a social media agency with a difference! Pairing small businesses up with creative, social media native students, to give businesses the chance to tell their story digitally! They pair small businesses with students to find the most cost effective, and dynamic way to grow their brand.

Despite being in its infancy, 95 Social is already working with a number of clients around Scotland. Jack believes strongly that the best way to learn about business is by doing and not through theory.

Jack is hosting the "Opportunities in Freelance work and how to get started" workshop that will give students invaluable advice on how to get started in freelance work. This workshop will also include a panel discussion with freelance worker who will be sharing their personal success stories and learnings with freelance work across a variety of sectors.
